49ers defense

  1. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS – too many playmakers at just about every position
  2. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS – young, rich and dangerous
  3. BALTIMORE RAVENS – filled holes nicely, addition of Dumervil is huge & impact rookies
  4. CHICAGO BEARS – they may be old at some positions but never count them out
  5. ST. LOUIS RAMS – a team on the rise, pieces are coming together
  6. HOUSTON TEXANS – with Reed in the back, you know turnovers are coming
  7. CLEVELAND BROWNS – pass rushers galore on this roster, will improve big time
  8. MIAMI DOLPHINS – front 7 is nasty and if Grimes turns to old self, look out for this D/ST.
  9. CINCINNATI BENGALS – talented front 4 led by Atkins, will be a top 10 D/ST
  10. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS – improved secondary play will help esp with McCourty at S now.
  11. NEW YORK JETS – wont be surprised if NYJ vaults into top 5, blitz happy defense
  12. DENVER BRONCOS – loss of Dumervil is huge, still should be one of the better D/ST’s out there
  13. GREEN BAY PACKERS – improved pass rush & secondary play is huge, always gives you points
  14. BUFFALO BILLS – defense is becoming young & fast, whose lining up opposite Gilmore?
  15. ATLANTA FALCONS – can they get the pass rush? Secondary will be ball hawks
  16. ARIZONA CARDINALS – they will miss Horton but defense still have playmakers on it
  17. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS – they’ll vault back into one of the better D/ST’s
  18. DALLAS COWBOYS – have the talent on defense, need that talent to force turnovers to get you points
  19. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS – another talented defense with a handful of new additions, will they click?
  20. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS – lost of Ingram is huge, is Freeney the answer? still got playmakers on defense.
