RICHARD SHERMAN, CB, SEAHAWKS
You can mark down on your ranking sheet yet another sophomore sensation, the 2011 Draft Class was filled with talent. Sherman got a late start in the season (When Trufant got injured) so he started the last 10 games and put up staggering numbers as a rookie. He clearly and easily exceeded any sort of expectations as a 5th round draft pick. Sherman led all rookies with 21 pass deflections and 4 interceptions to go along with 55 tackles. He has a dangerous size for a cornerback position standing 6 feet 3 inches, makes it tough for any QB to throw over Richard. Seattle is on the verge of becoming the best secondary in the league and Sherman is going to be a big part of that. I’m expecting Sherman to start, he deserves it, opposite Brandon Browner and the chance to put up top DB2 numbers at a DB3/4 value. You’d be able to grab Sherman towards the end of your draft as well if you’re going to wait on drafting DB’s he’s going to be of great value. Draft Sherman with confidence, I’ am and I’m not looking back.
