JUSTIN HOUSTON, LB, CHIEFS
Add yet another sophomore sensation to my sleeper list. Houston played tremendously well towards the end of the 2011 season after receiving a late-season promotion. In the last 5 games, Houston put up 5.5 sacks, add that thru an entire season he would’ve easily had 17 sacks. Entering 2012 he’s expected to start opposite of Hali and with Johnson in the middle you can’t double team anybody, so Houston will get his. He’s quick off the snap and has a knack on getting in the backfield, at Georgia he posted 18.5 tackles for losses in his final collegiate season. Houston will have a great year on a rising Kansas City defense. Houston is barely on anybody’s radar now, but I’m buying in on him and you should be able to grab him towards the end of your draft as your flier, solid LB3 with LB2 potential.
