SEAN SPENCE, LB, STEELERS
Spence is a definitely considered a stash in all dynasty leagues (if you have the roster space to do so). Barring any sort of injury Spence won’t get much playing time in 2012-2013 season but he’s made an impression so far in OTA’s. Soon as training camp approaches we’ll have a better feeling on where Spence stands, won’t be surprised if he picks up at least 4 starts this season as he’s the future next to Timmons at ILB. Some of Spence’s strength fits well for the Steelers as he’s solid in coverage and reading the QB’s eyes, and also is effective on blitzing and plays very phsycial for his size. Spence is considered a bit small for the ILB, especially for Steelers defense but he’s smart and does his homework (Student of the Game). Timmons and Woodley didn’t start nor get much playing time when they were rookies, so Spence will be following them down the road and expect him to start within a year or two. In the meantime, temper expectations but definitely keep him on your radar before word gets out.
